Arriva North East will be taking over service 472 (Barresdale - Alnwick - Shilbottle - Amble - Coquet Enterprise Park) over from Travelsure, from Sunday 25th September 2016, following changes to Northumberland County Council contracts. Buses will run every two hours on Monday to Saturday daytimes. As such, this vehicle has moved from Ashington (Reserve) to Ashington.

Gateshead Council is closing High Street West from Monday 4th January to Tuesday 5th April 2016, between the junctions of Charles Street and Arthur Street. During this time, service X12 will run directly between Low Fell (The New Cannon Inn) and Newcastle, omitting Gateshead Interchange. Northbound buses (towards Newcastle) will follow their normal route to Low Fell, then operate via Durham Road, the A167 and the Gateshead Highway to the Tyne Bridge. Southbound buses (towards Durham) will follow their normal route to the High Level Bridge, then operate via West Street, the A184 and Prince Consort Road to Low Fell. During this time, a shuttle service will operate between Gateshead Interchange and Low Fell, using this vehicle. As such, it has transferred from Ashington Depot to Jesmond.
