June 2020 Go North East Photograph by From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Riverside.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
March 2020 Go North East Photograph by Service revisions came into effect from Sunday 26 January which saw revised bus workings at Riverside for operational efficiencies and to improve reliability on service 6. As such, this vehicle has now lost its "The Blaydon Racer" branding, having been repainted into the 2019 fleet livery.
April 2017 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received "The Blaydon Racer" branding. "The Blaydon Racer" is the new brand name for services 12/12A (Newcastle - Winlaton), which were previously branded as "Toon Link". The brand name recognises the famous Geordie folk song written in the 19th century by Geordie Ridley, in a style deriving from music hall, containing references to Scotswood Road, which services 12/12A serve on their route.
April 2017 Go North East Photograph by Presently unbranded; this vehicle has returned to service at Riverside Depot, where it will see allocation to services 12/12A (Newcastle - Winlaton).
April 2017 Go North East This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain black base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Riverside Depot.
March 2017 Go North East Having been temporarily withdrawn from service, this vehicle has now been released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
February 2017 Go North East Following the entry into service of new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles on "The 49" service 49, this vehicle has been stripped of "Blaydon Racers" branding prior to being released for internal refurbishment and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.

December 2015 Go North East To reflect frequency changes to Blaydon following service changes at the end of October 2015, this vehicle's tagline of 'up to every 10 minutes' has been altered to 'up to every 20 minutes'.
December 2014 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has gained a revised version of the "Blaydon Racers" branding. The main change to the branding is the addition of a tagline promoting the 10-minute frequency of the "Blaydon Racers" 49/49B services.

February 2014 Go North East Photograph by Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.
September 2012 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Winlaton, to upgrade the "Blaydon Racers" 49 service, allowing the dual-door Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs currently operating on this service to cascade elsewhere. The vehicle has also been de-branded, so now no longer carries "Red Arrows" branding.
