September 2017 Go North East The West Indies return to Chester-le-Street for a hotly awaited rematch of the ICC World T20 Final when they face England on Saturday 16 September at Emirates Riverside. The sides will meet again following their thrilling final in April this year and it’s sure to be a fiery affair. To assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements for this event, which will see Go North East operating a large number of Park & Ride services, this vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside Depot.
September 2017 Go North East Following the end of the two-phase Major Line Closure taking place between Monday 31st July and Saturday 2nd September 2017 to allow for work at Northumberland Park station and track and bridge renewal work which forms part of the £350m Metro: all change modernisation programme, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot.
June 2017 Go North East A large number of double-deck vehicles are required over the summer months, due to Go North East being awarded with the contracts to operate additional services for special events and Metro Replacement. As such; this vehicle, which would have otherwise been withdrawn following the cascade of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles to Chester-le-Street, has instead been moved into a float/reserve capacity at Chester-le-Street Depot, and will transfer between depots where required.

September 2016 Go North East Following the entry into service of former Brighton & Hove Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6135 (YN04 GJV) at Crook Depot, becoming a dedicated spare vehicle for "Castles Express" service X21, this vehicle has been released for cascade from Crook Depot to Chester-le-Street, where it replaces Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3869 (W179 SCU), which was withdrawn from service in August 2016.
