June 2020 Go North East With most scholars services in Tyne & Wear returning to operation from Monday 15 June, re-allocations have taken place to accommodate the operation of all of these services. As such, this vehicle has been reinstated at Percy Main.
June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
August 2017 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has gained private cherished registration mark CU 6860 (previously held by Dennis Trident/Plaxton President 3890, which received its original registration prior to disposal). This vehicle's original registration, YN05 GZP, has now been held on retention.
August 2017 Go North East This vehicle has entered service at Percy Main Depot. To assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements over the summer holiday, which will see Go North East operating a Metro Replacement contract as well as operating shuttle services for the Sunderland International Airshow, Cruise Ships, Kynren and the Soccerbus X50, this vehicle has not yet had its seats re-trimmed into Go North East's standard blue 'Go' moquette or had extended luggage bays fitted to allow use on "DFDS Seaways" service 327. In September, this vehicle is planned to return to Saltmeadows Road to have this work undertaken.
July 2017 Go North East Prior to entering service, this vehicle has received "DFDS Seaways" branding, for the 327 service operating between Newcastle City Centre and the International Ferry Terminal at North Shields, to connect with the DFDS Ferry to Ijmuiden for onward travel to Amsterdam. Each bus branded for the "DFDS Seaways" 327 service will feature different taglines on the uniquely coloured two-tone base livery. This example features the tagline "Your Gateway to Europe" on the nearside, and "Book Your Ferry Getaway" on the offside.
July 2017 Go North East Prior to entering service, this vehicle has been repainted into a two-tone green and white base livery.
July 2017 Go North East Released from Brighton & Hove following the entry into service of brand new Wright StreetDeck vehicles on the company's 1 service; this vehicle, previously numbered previously numbered 653 within the Brighton & Hove fleet, has now arrived at Go North East and will undergo preparation for service within the Go North East fleet at Saltmeadows Road Depot.
