Vehicle History

June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Deptford.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
January 2020 Go North East As a result of service changes, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Deptford.
May 2019 Go North East Following the service revisions last weekend, a number of vehicles were unable to transfer to their new depots on Sunday 19 May due to being off service, instead transferring following completion of repairs. This vehicle has now transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside, where it will primarily be allocated to service 33 (Newcastle - Hollywood Avenue), as well as acting as a spare vehicle for "Metrocentre Mini" services M6/M7/M8.
August 2018 Go North East Following temporary loan to Peterlee Depot, this vehicle has now returned to service at Deptford.

January 2018 Go North East Following the cascade of Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 648 (NL63 XZV) from Stanley Depot to Riverside, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Deptford in exchange for Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 628 (NK61 DBZ) which is now allocated to Riverside. It aims to allow fleet numbers of minibuses to be consecutively numbered, following the transfer of similar Optare Solo SR M900/Optare 637 (NK12 HCD) to Deptford to operate the Nexus-secured 516 service between South Shields and South Tyneside Hospital.
April 2017 Go North East Photograph by Following the completion of the repainting programme for the former "Venture" branded minibuses cascaded to Percy Main; this vehicle has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Riverside, enabling the cascade and withdrawal of further Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer vehicles from the fleet.
March 2017 Go North East In line with service changes which have seen Nexus-secured service 353 revised to operate commercially and part of Percy Main's "indiGo North Tyne" network as an extension of service 42, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Percy Main. At Percy Main; this vehicle will allow two of the existing spare "indiGo" branded Optare Solo SR M890/Optare vehicles to instead form part of the PVR of the "indiGo North Tyne" 40/41/42/42A services, with this vehicle instead becoming the spare.

This example carries the tagline "Our buses run 35 million miles a year - that's like going to the moon and back 72 times"
February 2015 Go North East All of Saltmeadows Road's operations have transferred to Riverside Depot, which has resulted in the transfer of this vehicle from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside. It is not yet known what the future will hold for Saltmeadows Road Depot, but maintenance and repairs, repaints and re-trims, and the storage of new vehicles, is still expected to be held at Saltmeadows Road Depot for the foreseeable future.

August 2012 Go North East Ahead of its entry into service, this vehicle has received "Nexus" branding. Whilst it does not carry specific sub-branding, this vehicle should remain allocated to service 353, owing to a higher capacity being contractually required on this service.
August 2012 Go North East This vehicle, which carries a grey and red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It will be allocated to Saltmeadows Road Depot's low-cost unit comprising of Nexus-secured services.
