From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Riverside.

This example carries the tagline "Our buses run 35 million miles a year - that's like going to the moon and back 72 times".

Following service revisions in Sunderland last month which saw a number of changes to service and consequent re-allocations, this vehicle has gained "SimpliCity" branding, with sub-branding for services 2/2A.

Following the introduction of new Wright Streetlite vehicles on "Drifter" service 60 (Sunderland - Parkside), this vehicle has been repainted into a purple base livery. It will be re-allocated to service 39 (Pennywell - Doxford Park), and fall under the "SimpliCity" brand.

It is of 'Gold Standard' specification; featuring full CCTV coverage and recording, information screens, and comfortable seats for all including priority seating with a wheelchair bay for elderly and disabled customers.
