A lot of people gave up waiting because of it. Whether complaints were made, is another thing.

This bloke did seem apologetic - will see if it happens again.
It is out in the public domain now, Nexus insiders could see the comments on here. Will make it official next time.

On a slightly different note, does anyone know why the 37 doesn't call at the same stand as the 4/x1?
Never been able to work out, why it calls at the stand it does.

(26 Aug 2014, 8:04 pm)Dan Imagine it's because the stands are quite busy as it is? The X1 can often have waiting time there, and the 4 likewise.
Adding another bus to the mix would mean buses going onto the stand behind possibly.

The Silver Arrows doesn't tend to layover on the stand it picks up at, if it has time to sit there...

Obviously when an X1 is in, a 4 should be in.

Had a feeling there were a few anomalies in the stand allocation and what I said with the m2/m3.

Not sure I agree with the stand allocation at all, but it isn't relevant to the thread.

(02 Sep 2014, 4:58 pm)Robert I think Hartlepool is fine without a major bus station/interchange and Marina Way. Its not as if its too far to Walk from the Marina. Its too small for a bus station and doesnt have that many bus services.

(03 Sep 2014, 3:31 pm)Robert Regardless of how many services terminate at the Interchange, its not that far to walk from the Town Centre. Hartlepool is just a small town and i dont think there is anywhere (close to the city centre) to build a bus station or any space to extend the Interchange to house more routes.

(03 Sep 2014, 9:13 pm)col87 Yes i meant the 58 and not the 57 the only other service to use the Interchange is the Scarlet Band Eveing 22 . Some 36 buses use it as a lay over but all other services terminate at Marina or Victoria Road. It was a waste of money. A better place for a bus station is the Shopping Centre Car Park off Park Road
