RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Michael - 25 Feb 2016 The 78/78A was canceled and then re-done as the 78 only.. wonder if this means the 78A will be withdrawn. I'm at uni so will have a proper look later. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - cbma06 - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 2:53 pm)Michael The 78/78A was canceled and then re-done as the 78 only.. wonder if this means the 78A will be withdrawn. On the new registration I wonder what section or sections that the 78 will be limited stop RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DanPicken - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 3:42 pm)cbma06 On the new registration I wonder what section or sections that the 78 will be limited stop Probably between Sunderland and Chester-le-Street. Glad the 88A is going, hopefully the low Bridge is missed completely now. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Diamond One - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 2:10 pm)BusLoverMum There be a lot, it seemsNOO!!!! 88A does effect me I live on the route (25 Feb 2016, 4:06 pm)DanPicken Probably between Sunderland and Chester-le-Street. Glad the 88A is going, hopefully the low Bridge is missed completely now. Might go the old 88A way the 88 as 27 is frequent enough on there Where the clock pub is RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DanPicken - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 4:14 pm)Diamond One NOO!!!! 88A does effect me I live on the route You also live on the 88 route which makes no difference as the 88 will become every 15 mins. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Michael - 25 Feb 2016 The 88A might still be running but they've done it so it only shows the 88 on it, same as the new 78 one. The current 35 is the same, you have to see the other services by clicking on each registration.... cant remember how u do it,i just remember seen a post about it. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - BusLoverMum - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 4:22 pm)Michael The 88A might still be running but they've done it so it only shows the 88 on it, same as the new 78 one. The search results aren't clickable. You an get a little more info by searching for the registration number (easiest via google, it seems) but it still doesn't give you every single detail. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - citaro5284 - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 2:15 pm)BusLoverMum What's with the 5 being cancelled then re-registered, like? Currently operates at Riverside (Go North East), but is moving to Washington (Go Northern) RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - South Tyne Lad - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 4:06 pm)DanPicken Glad the 88A is going, hopefully the low Bridge is missed completely now. Probably stop using the low bridge because it will be a pain to allocate Vehicles in the event of a Versa Breaking down ( If their still allocated by then ) due to Riversides vast amount of Types of Single Deckers with most having Air Pods which cant fit under the bridge. It could also mean GNE might change the allocation to other types of Vehicles which again, Don't fit under that stupid bridge. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DanPicken - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 5:55 pm)South Tyne Lad Probably stop using the low bridge because it will be a pain to allocate Vehicles in the event of a Versa Breaking down ( If their still allocated by then ) due to Riversides vast amount of Types of Single Deckers with most having Air Pods which cant fit under the bridge. It could also mean GNE might change the allocation to other types of Vehicles which again, Don't fit under that stupid bridge. My dad also said this anyone boarding at that stop has a much more frequent 27 around the corner, I hope this is the case so we get a range of buses, noticed VOSA has the 17th for the changes which is annoying as I'll have to wait until the Saturday after to bash the changed services. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - South Tyne Lad - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 6:06 pm)DanPicken My dad also said this anyone boarding at that stop has a much more frequent 27 around the corner, I hope this is the case so we get a range of buses, noticed VOSA has the 17th for the changes which is annoying as I'll have to wait until the Saturday after to bash the changed services. Exactly, There's a 12 Minute more direct service to most destinations the 88A Serves ( Jarrow, Hebburn, South Shields ) just around the corner for most of the route past Jarrow. Its pretty pointless and I'm pleased its being sorted out. Atleast you'll have 7 more days to ride 4935 before it leaves the 88 RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DanPicken - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 6:12 pm)South Tyne Lad Exactly, There's a 12 Minute more direct service to most destinations the 88A Serves ( Jarrow, Hebburn, South Shields ) just around the corner for most of the route past Jarrow. Haha, I'll get it on the last possible day, the 16th. Seems to fall under the same registration (looking at the cancellation one). RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Michael - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 6:23 pm)park5354 PB0003954/677 Thanks Park, =) If you don't mind, can you let me know how you do it?, so the info etc is like that. =) RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - park5354 - 25 Feb 2016 GO NORTHERN LTD - PB0002400/591 Registration Number: Variation Number 0 Status Registered Operator Name GO NORTHERN LTD Service Number(s) 78 (78A, X78) Start Point Consett Bus Station Finish Point Sunderland, Park Lane Interchange Via Service Type Limited Stop Normal Stopping Date Received 19-FEB-2016 Effective Date 17-APR-2016 End Date - TAOs covered by route North East of England Local Authorities covered by route Durham County Council Nexus (Tyne & Wear) N&P Reference 222 RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - NK53 TKT - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 6:28 pm)park5354 GO NORTHERN LTD - PB0002400/591That clears the whole X78 thing up then RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Michael - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 5:40 pm)citaro5284 Currently operates at Riverside (Go North East), but is moving to Washington (Go Northern) Is this the same for the 78 cancellation and then being resubmitted, does this confirm that all the SC&C streetlites will move to Chester, like it was rumoured before? Same for the 88 moving to Riverside from Washington? RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - R852 PRG - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 8:16 pm)Michael Is this the same for the 78 cancellation and then being resubmitted, does this confirm that all the SC&C streetlites will move to Chester, like it was rumoured before? Don't think the same logic can be applied, as Stanley and Chester-le-Street both come under Go Northern. RE: Go North East: Upcoming Service Changes - citaro5284 - 25 Feb 2016 (25 Feb 2016, 8:20 pm)R852 PRG Don't think the same logic can be applied, as Stanley and Chester-le-Street both come under Go Northern. Correct they do, I think the 78 registration will mean there is a change in it somewhere. |
