Wouldn't be surprised if you did. I am expecting that it will be allocated to the Cathedral Bus as opposed to the R5 with one of the normal Solos (E3 STX and ON02 STX) or even similar SR KX15 BLZ covering for it on the R5.

NEXUS Scholars: Volvo B7TL Plaxton Presidents
DCC Scholars: Volvo B7TL ALX400s, Volvo Olympians
Since they have lost the 968 and 939 (or at least one), i have not included them. The registrations for their scholars service have not come through yet although i know that they have kept the 845 and also have the 847 (Kingsmeadow School - Lobley Hill Cragside Gardens).

Wow, had absolutely no idea that this was for the R5 and I live in Rowlands Gill. I saw it going through not in service today. Will get a picture tomorrow and ride on it, much better bus that the horrible Fiat Bluebird which I hate!

The NC Palatine (K2 STX) works on the Tanfield school bus quite often

Some, if not all, of the Stanley Travel deckers should be out and about tomorrow. The drivers have been asked to come in and give them all a little run out just so they can identify and fix any problems before the new school year starts later in the week.

Don't know if other operators have been told similar but my dad isn't happy - Nexus have asked Stanley Travel to operate the scholars for St Thomas More school, Blaydon despite them not going back until Tuesday. He has to go in to run around empty. Eventhough the services are open to members of the public, the chances of one using the service is extremely slim.

It's the same for all Nexus Misc Works contracts - they commenced from 31/08/15 so should have been operated all of this week (excl Bank Holidays, due to this being a Sunday service) regardless of whether the school had returned or not because they are public services.
If Stanley Travel did not operate the services this week, chances are they will receive a penalty fine.
