(30 Nov 2017, 3:16 pm)Jimmi Some people can't seem to comprehend the fact it's snowing, was waiting for a bus to Aycliffe in Darlington at 13:55, rejected a busy 7 after checking the app to see the 19 that would become my 5 was on time, at this point some woman starts whinging about the fact that the 13:50 service 8 to Spennymoor hadn't turned up yet and started saying that it was a joke that it wasn't here, "they've taken it off" etc, could have told her it would be 37 minutes late arriving into Darlington but she would probably have only start whinging even more. In the end she boarded my 5 to Bishop Auckland and kept moaning.

After boarding the 5 the weather looked a bit like this.

Glad I'm not in Darlo, this morning. Gridlock and it's so bad that arriva have actually bothered to mention all the cancelled services on Twitter.

I have all the boys home. Littlun's school is closed, bigun's taxi couldn't run and husband looked at the traffic reports between here and teesside and decided to work from home.

(18 Jan 2018, 10:48 am)Pulsar Snow didn't look that bad at Cramlington today, at least on the roads anyway so thought my journey would be fine. Could not have been more wrong though... I left Cramlington on the 7:43 X10 and did not get to Newcastle until 9:35. Just 1 hour and 10 minutes longer than yesterday. Wonder what would happen if it was more serious here?

Still at least I was not on this X7...
