RCU834S - Preservation Candidate?
Would be great to see this join 838 (and maybe 807 one day) preserved and restored to former glory. The asking price seems a little steep (though I have no idea how much is typical) especially given the condition and appears significantly altered internally.

Not worth the £12k it was initially put up for before the seller realised he's got a Daimler Fleetline on his hands and not an Atlantean and jacked the price up another 2k, then there's the cost of towing it back to the North East as well as fixing the leak in the air tank. Anyone who wants it is gonna need deep pockets.

Still for sale on eBay.
Why would a Fleetline be worth more than an Atlantean?
Is fixing an air tank a big problem?
I heard these panoramic large side windows gave structural issues for some operators and thus earlier withdrawal from service. Would that be the same for this batch?
Although the seller has a YouTube of the engine running, I am guessing there is potential for all sorts of issues, mainly body, hence your comment about deep pockets.
