June 2020 Arriva North East Photograph by Arriva North East's Darlington-based bus driver Steve Foster unexpectedly died overnight on Wednesday, June 10. The 54-year-old, who had worked in the region for almost three decades, regularly drove service X1. This bus, which was once branded as "The Best One" for service X1, was regularly driven by Steve. To mark his passing, this bus has been dedicated to Steve Foster, being named after him and also emblazoned with a rainbow.
