Vehicle History

January 2020 Go North East This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.
October 2019 Go North East This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot.
September 2019 Go North East Following the loss of the single-deck Miscellaneous Works contract operated from Peterlee, this vehicle has transferred from Peterlee Depot to Deptford.
May 2019 Go North East Photograph by In line with service changes and the introduction of new brand identities, there were a large number of vehicle re-allocations which took place on Sunday 19 May, the significance of which have been likened to the South Shields and Bishop Auckland depot closures in 2005 and 2006 respectively. This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Peterlee. At Peterlee, this vehicle should be allocated to the Miscellaneous Works contract which operates at peak-times only. Outside of these times, the vehicle should be allocated to the Staff Shuttle service at Peterlee.
October 2018 Go North East Photograph by Due to the bodywork of this vehicle being in poor condition and the requirement to bring it up to a better standard in line with the vehicle's annual MOT test, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery. This example carries the tagline "Recharge your batteries | Many of our buses have power sockets on board". It is expected that another vehicle in the fleet will receive a new and refreshed version of the promotional livery to support the Royal British Legion and to honour the centenary year of the end of World War 1.
February 2014 Go North East Photograph by Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.
