June 2020 Go North East Photograph by Additional hot spares are being deployed in Gateshead this week in case of any increase in demand associated with the opening of non-essential shops. As such, this vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside.
June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
March 2020 Go North East The inward transfer of a number of Optare Solos to Riverside from Percy Main in order to convert midibus services to minibus operation has led to this vehicle being moved into a float/reserve capacity. To be used initially as repaint float vehicles, this vehicle will, longer-term, transfer to Percy Main Depot to assist with the operation of additional seasonal work.

October 2017 Go North East In order to improve the customer experience on "Toon Link" services 6, X30/X31 and X70/X71, which all provide links between Newcastle, Stanley and Consett, this vehicle has been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi.

May 2015 Go North East Following the entry into service of brand new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid vehicles on the "Red Kite" 45/46 services at Stanley Depot, this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service and placed in storage at Saltmeadows Road Depot.
April 2015 Go North East Photograph by Go North East has ordered ten Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid vehicles for the "Red Kite" 45/46 services. Prior to the new vehicles entering service and the consequent cascade of this vehicle, it has been repainted into a plain black base livery.
