With most scholars services in Tyne & Wear returning to operation from Monday 15 June, re-allocations have taken place to accommodate the operation of all of these services. Services 13 and 25 at Chester-le-Street will now be operated by single-deck vehicles to assist in the release of double-deck vehicles for scholars. As such, this vehicle has been reinstated at Chester-le-Street Depot.
June 2020
Go North East
From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.

March 2020
Go North East
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is falling customer demand and available resources. Therefore, to combat this during these unprecedented times, Go North East has reduced its service levels from Monday 23 March to run enhanced Sunday timetables rather than the full normal weekday output (Sunday service levels, plus some extra morning journeys for key workers, and a small number of contracted school/works services). As such - due to the lower number of vehicles being required at the moment - a number of transfers have taken place to ensure services are operated by the most fuel-efficient, economic and reliable buses. One such transfer is of this vehicle from Chester-le-Street Depot to Percy Main, in order to operate "Coaster" services 1/1A, allowing the Volvo B5 Hybrid vehicles to be temporarily withdrawn from service owing to their unique nature and high maintenance costs (which are all outsourced to Volvo Bus & Coach).
May 2019
Go North East
In line with service changes and the introduction of new brand identities, there were a large number of vehicle re-allocations which took place on Sunday 19 May, the significance of which have been likened to the South Shields and Bishop Auckland depot closures in 2005 and 2006 respectively. This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Chester-le-Street, where it should see primary allocation to services 13/14/25/X22.
