January 2024 Go North East Following the entry into service of the new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max vehicles within the Driver Training fleet, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service.
June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Washington.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
January 2020 Go North East In partnership with South Tyneside Council; this vehicle has received exhaust modifications, increasing the Euro standard of this bus from Euro 4 to Euro 6.
February 2019 Go North East In order to enhance the quality of service provided to passengers on services 5 and 50, this vehicle has been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi. This contributes towards Go North East's project to upgrade every service in the Washington and South Tyneside areas with free Wi-Fi.
January 2019 Go North East Photograph by With route branding across the network being reviewed, services 5 and 50 (currently branded "Whey Aye Five 0") are the next routes to lose route branding. This three-quarter life repaint into Go North East's fleet livery reflects the interworking of service 50 with the 5, the fit in of these services in Go North East's network, and the age of the Scania OmniCity fleet. As such this vehicle has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery. This example carries the tagline "Never miss your stop | Many of our buses have next stop screens and announcements".
April 2016 Go North East With the operation of "Whey Aye Five 0" service 50 transferring to Washington Depot as part of service changes effective Sunday 17th April 2016, this vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Washington.

December 2013 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of impending cascade due to the arrival of new Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL vehicles which will see allocation to the "Cobalt Clipper" 309/310 services, this vehicle has been repainted into a light blue base livery. It is expected that the vehicle will transfer to Chester-le-Street Depot, where it will see allocation to "Whey Aye Five 0" service 50.
