Vehicle History
June 2020
Go North East
Service changes from Monday 1 June 2020 resulted in service 9 being split at Sunderland into two separate routes, as it operated initially prior to January 2018. Service 9 now operates between Sunderland and Lukes Lane only, every 30 minutes, while the section of route between Sunderland and Murton has been replaced by service 61, continuing to operate every 20 minutes. As such, this vehicle has lost its branding for The 9 but retains the lower section of branding showing shopping and leisure activities, which is still relevant. The buses should now be primarily allocated to services 9 and 35.
