July 2016 Go North East Following a period of use at Stanley Depot on demonstration, this vehicle has been returned to Optare.

June 2016 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle was previously in the fleet back in March 2016 for a one-month period, when it was allocated to Deptford Depot to evaluate performance against the Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid vehicle type on "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A. It was returned to Optare after one month, but has now joined the Go North East fleet again for further demonstration trials.

March 2016 Go North East Photograph by Go North East recently confirmed details in trade press magazine, Route One, of its £10m investment for the 2015/16 financial year. Long-distance services 20/20A, branded as "Prince Bishops", are set to be upgraded in May 2016, with 22 brand new Wright Streetlite vehicles. Optare have supplied Go North East with one of its Metrocity demonstration models to evaluate it against the Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid vehicle type on "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A. It will be used at Go North East for a period of up to one month, and has been allocated fleet number 9102.
