17239, 17240 and 17645 have been repainted into a 'Seasider' livery and brought back into service at Walkergate. These vehicles will be used on the new Seasider route between Whitley Bay and Tynemouth.

It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Stockton Depot, though is intended to be allocated to Slatyford Depot to replace the Leyland Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine vehicles on the NewcastleGateshead City Sightseeing service.
