Due to the closure of the Forth Road Bridge; bus services to/from Fife are being diverted via Kincardine Bridge, resulting in journey times being extended by approximately an hour and a half in each direction. As a consequence, the PVR of these services has increased, and Stagecoach Fife have loaned approximately 30 vehicles from other Stagecoach divisions for allocation to these services. One of these loans includes this vehicle from Stagecoach North East's South Shields Depot.
