(16 Jun 2020, 11:30 am)Stuartphin1639 There currently running to a increased timetable with duplicates at the minute, but I’m sure there will be more changes around then as a driver that I know said there getting a new rota On the 28th June and said that around 90/95% of drivers will be back, even if it’s 90% it’s still an increase to what it is now

Thanks for the info.

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - peter - 16 Jun 2020

(16 Jun 2020, 11:07 am)Kuyoyo Understand the April Changes will now come into full effect from 28th June - some of the Teesside changes, mainly the minor ones for Stockton's 5, 7/7a and 8, have been in effect since 31st May.

Does anybody have exact details of the changes to the 5, 7/7a and 8? I can't recall from the original release how these services were 'going to be' altered

Thanks, Peter

5: Minor timing changes at peak on both morning and afternoon. Middlesbrough Town Hall timing point removed

7/7a: Morning and Afternoon peak timings revised. 1805 7a from Stockton and 1832 from Willey Flatts both slightly retimed, with the 1832 now running at 1838. No other changes.

8: Middlesbrough Town Hall and Marshall Avenue toning points removed.

The 81 to Stokesley has been saved, temporarily, I'm told. Watch this space for further news on that.

Yes, it will continue to operate until the 29th August as mentioned on this page detailing the changes being rescheduled to the 28th June here

Timetable now available on the Arriva website: https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-east/services/81s---stokesley-to-guisborough/?date=200628

Looking at the timetable:
Working to 1 bus 1 driver with a break in Guisborough
First departure is 0920 from Guisborough and 0947 from Stokesley
No 1320 from Guisborough or 1347 from Stokesley
Last trip 1720 from Guisborough, 1747 from Stokesley

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DavidSBrough - 19 Jun 2020

From the 28th June

The X8 and X9 will both run every 30 minutes between Blyth and Newcastle for the morning peak but will then run hourly between Blyth and Newcastle but every 30 minutes between Cramlington and Newcastle.

X8 timetable: https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable/?guid=9505bb0c-e870-48ea-bc1f-8f3d3df9718f&id=45106&date=200628-200916

X9 timetable: https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable/?guid=cd65520a-2190-4bf2-b8ff-4a2f50c2c177&id=44995&date=200628-200916

It looks like a X8 to Cramlington goes onto an X9 to Newcastle and the X9 to Cramlington goes onto an X8 back to Newcastle.

There's more to it than that by the looks of it.

As the X7 and X8 are swapping at Newcastle and the X8 and X9 are swapping at Blyth aswell. So it's just normal rota bar it's been shortened at Cramlington for both of them.

I wonder if NYCC intend on funding for the 81 to continue beyond Arriva's operation until the 29th August? If so I think an extension of Abbot's of Leeming service 80/89 from Northallerton to Stokesley up to Guisborough could be a good move.

That's funny, I've just had a good planning session and looked at that exact scenario.

I'm told that NYCC do have something already lined up to replace the 81 between Great Ayton and Guisborough and need Arriva to run this until end of August to get it all in place.

I don't know when the NYCC school contracts come in to play or if it is merely a coincidence that they go back days after the ANE 81 stops running.

I did wonder why the end of August was the date agreed to extend the 81.

Can't think of anything they run with their own fleet locally though, all of the minibuses into Stokesley are run by Coatham for example. The nearest would probably be Northallerton?

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Ryland - 01 Jul 2020

Is there timetables and routes avaible somewhere with the new changes on Teesside. Was very confused on the 62 route

Here is the new map of services for Redcar taken from the new timetable leaflet for the X4 which was released when the changes were initially announced:

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Kuyoyo - 20 Jul 2020

Arriva back to more-or-less normal from this weekend
https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/coronavirus/important-service-information---north-east/

Of note:
Stockton’s 8 remains every 10 minutes on weekdays (down from every 8)
The X5 is not reinstated - a new earlier journey on the 5A from Guisborough to Middlesbrough is instead added
Darlington introduce new service 2A - a variation of the present 2 - to serve the Amazon site bear Lingfield Point. These run every 10 minutes at shift Change times

Similarly, the 6 from Durham to Cockfield is every 15 minutes as opposed to every 12, while the 3/3A from Darlington to Skerne Park are every 20 minutes as opposed to every 10. I wonder if these few stragglers that are yet to return to their pre-corona frequency might actually be more permanent?

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - RobinHood - 20 Jul 2020

I'm told a further 100% position is planned for 30 August (including reinstatement of evening service frequencies too) ready for schools going back.

OK so not the right thread but what happened to "Brand Delivery?" Why remove a thread and posts without explanation ?
