RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 10 Nov 2014 Hartlepool at home to Blyth. Gateshead at home to Warrington. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 10 Nov 2014 One or Both of those could be tv games, given both away teams results in the last round Rather Gateshead at home than away to Warrington RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 10 Nov 2014 Looking forward to them both already. Part of me is wanting the games to be on different days. Often get down to Hartlepool and get to Gateshead whenever I can. Re: RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 10 Nov 2014 (10 Nov 2014, 7:27 pm)Andreos1 Looking forward to them both already. Part of me is wanting the games to be on different days.If one/both are picked up by telly, they will be at different times RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 10 Nov 2014 Hopefully Warrington hold back on one or two of those heavy tackles they seemed to enjoy putting in on Friday. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - beefcake - 12 Nov 2014 Both the Hartlepool v Blyth and Gateshead v Warrington games are to be televised. Hartlepool is on the Friday night on BBC2 and Gateshead kick off Sunday lunchtime on BT Sport1 Re: RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 12 Nov 2014 (12 Nov 2014, 4:41 pm)beefcake Both the Hartlepool v Blyth and Gateshead v Warrington games are to be televised. No surprise there as Warrington and Blyth(to a point) were the better results in the 1st Round... Put Hartlepool in there and it would be a tough decision not to televise it, especially with that game being something of a local derby RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Tom - 14 Nov 2014 I think Gibraltar are doomed tonight... Re: RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 5:52 pm)Tom I think Gibraltar are doomed tonight... About as hard as you can get...Not many teams fancy a trip to Germany, poor old Gibraltar are fucked...I remember watching a San Marino v Germany a few years ago and the Krauts won 13-0... If Germany can systematically murder Brazil like they did in July they may just put double figures on Gibraltar Gibraltars Record is up to now P 3 W 0 D 0 L 3 GF 0 GA 17 ĢD -17 PTS 0 RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 14 Nov 2014 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30037729 If only I could predict the lottery numbers as good as predicting this whitewash. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Michael - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 6:02 pm)marxistafozzski 55 mins gone and its only 3-0 to Germany! RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Tom - 14 Nov 2014 Germany are 4-0 up, quite surprised it isn't 10! The Faroe Islands are also winning, but 1-0. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Adam - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 9:16 pm)Tom Germany are 4-0 up, quite surprised it isn't 10! ah no!!! Majorly disappointed that the mighty great great grandmother-land of Greece got beat. Noticed as well that the goalscorer for the Faroe Islands' played for Gateshead a few years back. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Tom - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 10:18 pm)Adam ah no!!! Majorly disappointed that the mighty great great grandmother-land of Greece got beat. Greece are not doing very well at all. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Adam - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 10:18 pm)Tom Greece are not doing very well at all. no not lately they're not. Shame really. When England were knocked out the World Cup, I turned my support to them. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Tom - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 10:31 pm)Adam no not lately they're not. Shame really. Must say, I am surprised at how well some underdogs are doing. Like Iceland, they are top of their table, having beaten Netherlands. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Adam - 14 Nov 2014 (14 Nov 2014, 10:37 pm)Tom Must say, I am surprised at how well some underdogs are doing. Like Iceland, they are top of their table, having beaten Netherlands. Didn't even realise Iceland were doing so well. Just goes to show how unpredictable and exciting the world of football is. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 14 Nov 2014 This could very well be the year when all the home nations qualify, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland are doing alright up to now... Want N.Ireland to progress as I support them after England RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 14 Nov 2014 Oh yeah... The Oldest Game in International Football is back next week for only the 5th time since 1996...
