Why would Winlaton depot being held onto, with the expense attached to maintaining and operating the facility?

Also, who benefits from preservation of older vehicles? Is is the majority of passengers who use services, or is it the small number of enthusiasts who will want to rejoice over the good ol' days?

No plans to preserve an SPD then? Sad

I agree in terms of business that it wouldn't be viable, but think of the poor DAFs Tongue

Winlaton will soon be housing.

Beamish has a whole package around it aside transport which isn't a huge part (well, maybe the trams)

Just thinking of the business case as opposed to the emotional one
