I concentrated on the service between Appleby and Penrith and compared to other previously supported services, that have been picked up by community groups.
Worth a listen if you can find it.

I didn't hear it but I noticed that Friends of Dalesbus posted on their Facebook last night that today would be the last day of the Grand Prix Coaches 563 service between Kirkby Stephen and Penrith which I didn't know was ending until I saw the post on Facebook last night.

The bit about the 563 starts about 8:50 into the programme apparently.

Think there is also doubts over some of the DalesBus routes returning in the summer next year, think the 830 which Arriva North East (and Travellers Choice) run and was also the route that featured on BBC Four's All Aboard! The Country Bus programme earlier in the year is one of the routes at risk of facing the axe.

Kirkby Stephen will be left with a very limited service now, think there's only a service around college time (term time only) to Kendal, a service round the local area on a Friday and a few Cumbria Classic Coaches routes including the 572 between Ravenstonedale and Barnard Castle on a Wednesday.

Having done some digging, I have found some confirmation on further departures from the Dales and District fleet:

MX07 JOH was sold at auction in August (alongside MX05 ENE and YJ59 GGE which have already been noted - link here.)
NX10 CCA was actually sold at auction in April 2015 (alongside all of the old Leven Valley stock etc - link here.)
NT06 GKA and MX05 EMV have been sold to Cumfybus (Flickr photo's of NT06 GKA and MX05 EMV respectively)

Also, just to confirm - I saw both ex Leven Valley E200's in service in Richmond yesterday, although there is still a listing for one on Proctors Bus and Coach Sales.

Yj64dxl was on the 72 today, mx62gug was on the 73. Ae60grx was on the 70 on the morning and later in the day made a rare appearance on the x34. T25svn was on the 29. Yx60dxy was on the x34 early in the day. And yj16dxr was on the 159 as usual.

Went to the Proctors depot today at Leeming bar and found Yx14rzd with a sign saying vehicle of road it had been of for agers before yesterday when I went on it and it did not sound healthy. Also an 08 plate solo Mx08myn was there maybe going to go up for sale. And as I was leaving Ae60grx returned to the depot with an engineer on it with service X34 on the board.

Went to Proctors depot today and I asked permission to go in was given permission by Kevin proctor the owner of the whole company I had a good chat with him about the service vehicles. He said they are Tring to get rid of the two Enviros YX60DXY and T25svn but nobody wants them. Also he said that he wished he hadn't of bought The two Enviros YX14RZD and YX14RZC as they are having too many problems but only got them as they were cheap. Also when I talked to him about Mx62gug I was shocked when he told me it's on its 4th engine since new. He said they won't be buying anymore Streetlites again.
I also was talking to am Engineer at Proctors and I asked him about The evolution Ae60grx and he said that thing is having problems every few weeks and he told me that bus is a one of. Also they have ordered a 17 plate solo but isn't sure if it's going with Dales and District or within the Compass group.

Also MX55BXR is still apart of the Dales and District fleet but is in for a new engine refit. Kevin proctor told me the new engine will be in by Monday and it will be getting a repaint and then it should be back in service in the next 3-4 weeks. [Image: 2f094d2c5a769a13d86d44e7d7fd73d0.jpg]

And MW52PYZ is still part of the Dales and district fleet it's at another depot in for a new engine refit but it should be back soon.

Yes I was quite surprised when I was told they were getting another new Service bus. Maybe a replacement for the two Enviros as I know that T25svn. I'm just happy they aren't getting any more Streetlites.
