Picked up a copy of Buses Magazine yesterday before going into Hospital, and there were some quite interesting Articles in it in relation to All Electric, Hybrid and other upcoming Technologies that are currently being tested across Europe.

So to kick us off we have a 4 Page Spread from Volvo - "A Quiet Revolution"

Moving on - "BYD All Electric Double Decker & Irizar i2e Trial for London"

And Finally - "Lothians Hybrid Volvos"

The 4 Page one on Volvo was a very interesting read I thought, should test something like that out up here on the Sunderland Connect 700/701 for example when it comes to the time of replacing the Hybrid Solo SRs.

Quite!

A very limited idea - fraught with danger for the vehicles underneath, whether the 'bus' is approaching or overtaking.

It's on tracks, so will struggle to overtake anything! No good for services that run in two's or three's.

RE: New technology in buses - Andreos1 - 29 Oct 2016

After logging on to GNE wifi for the first time in months today (and the first time ever on this phone), I had apparently used up my data allowance after pulling out of the bus station. Just enough time to recieve a fb message...

Frustrating!
