RE: Redcar & Cleveland Council
(09 Jun 2018, 2:00 pm)Andreos1 wrote This weekend is the last but one weekend the Saltburn Cliff Lift P&R is supposed to be running.

The shuttle service runs every 35 minutes and runs from Hobb Hill Car Park to the bottom of Saltburn Bank, calling at Station Street and the Top of Saltburn Cliff Lift.

Didn't know there was one!

When's it run?

It's been running the last 5/6 weeks at least. It was daily during school half term, but just weekends since.
Mid-morning until early-evening.
Tomorrow, next Saturday and next Sunday (assuming repairs to lift are sorted by then).

Is their online timetable for it
RE: Redcar & Cleveland Council
Latest update, is that this weekend will be its last running.
The lifts weren't completed on schedule last time and they're hoping the extra time will enable the lifts to open beyond this weekend.

RE: Redcar & Cleveland Council
Not long seen sight of a letter distributed to Saltburn residents.
It's primarily related to parking across various parts of the town (the council have commissioned Capita to carry out a consultation).
There's also mention of dedicated commuter parking for station, improved pedestrian and cycling access to busy areas and to work to study the feasibility of a P&R system.
