Michael will be disappointed that there is no Gas Buses on Order again, iirc he was wanting some more for the Sunderland Area.

Could see some of the ADL E400/ADL E400MMC/Scania E400MMC Order coming to the North East, along with some of the Orders for the Scania/ADL E300 Order also coming to the Region, more than likely be Newcastle/Stockton which receive Investment with Sunderland getting Cascades.

Very much so, although Sunderland can't get new buses each year, its time for someone else... we can always hope a green bus round 5 happens....

To be honest I would rather see the funding which goes into Transport for Londons Infrastructure split with other Regions up and down the Country to ensure everyone gets a fair share of Investment.

Good order. I can't wait to see the MMCs in service. Hopefully we'll get some in the North East too!

As for GBF... anything is possible, considering we've got a general election in less than two months time. It may be scrapped altogether in favour of a new scheme.

Well we will just have to start a campaign right here on NEB, Get the backing of the Local Councilors and Councilors in other Regions up and down the country, then go to London and force a change in Legislation that will benefit everyone...not just London.

(10 Mar 2015, 6:47 pm)AIG20 Information from "Roger Le Beaver" of the "Stagecoach Enthusiasts" Facebook Page:
"The only Stagecoach division I'm aware of is the one on service X20 at Fellgate Estate"

In other words it is highly likely that Stagecoach South Shields will get new buses to upgrade service X20, which will most likely be ADL E300s. If this does happen, it will allow MAN ALX300s 22050/67/70 to be cascaded to another depot.

It was a tongue-in-cheek comment..............

As for Teesside - it seems to be highly likely Stockton will gain some investment this year, as Stockton is now the only depot officially to have an allocation of non-DDA vehicles. Of course, the matter of what for and how many can be debated (however my money is on examples for 12/39 - once it's been sorted out).

How many Non DDA single deckers are there left in the NE fleet, including reserves, as depots still have non DDA reserves?

They have to replace them this year. Come 1st Jan 2016, they'll no longer be available for use, due to the change of DDA regulations.
