100 ones Probs be better for 6/7 unless the then ex100s get transferred to them and if they would come up here, id expect to see them to follow the same codes as the other MMC (26XXX I think they are?)

(01 May 2018, 9:26 am)Kuyoyo Still no sign of an order announcement but we do have some confirmations and some speculation:

Meanwhile, it has been mentioned on the 'Travel South Yorkshire' forum that new deckers (chassis type unconfirmed) are due for Chesterfield - either for services 50/50a/50b (Sheffield to Chesterfield via Eckington and Whittington) which is rumoured to be going 'Gold'; or service X17 (Sheffield to Chesterfield and Matlock), for which there are some 'improvements' coming soon. Rumour are that the X17 may be extended from Sheffield City Centre to Meadowhall - given the recent commercial risks made by Yorkshire (the X65 between Barnsley and Meadowhall, the X10 between Barnsley and Leeds and the 54/56 extensions to East Midlands Designer Outlet), that could be reality rather than rumour.

From the same location, it has now been mentioned that 8 Enviro400MMCs to Gold specification are due for Chesterfield in August for the X17, which from July is to be extended from Sheffield to Barnsley via Meadowhall. This extension will replace the weekend-only X65 between Meadowhall and Barnsley.

50401-5 are bound for Ayr - Astromega replacements from the sounds of things.

I’ll post the latest list of orders when I’m on my laptop next - as there’s a bit to explain regarding fleet numbering.

As posted by Steve Mutly on the 'Stagecoach Enthusiasts' Facebook Group, these are the vehicles (besides the 'Pronto' E400s) due for delivery in the coming weeks:

ADL MMC/ 48v Smart Hybrid (Barking ; Route 169)

50402 YX18 KLL
50403 YX18 KLM
50404 YX18 KLN
50405 YX18 KLO

And now to explain the previously mentioned fleet numbering:
As you can see, the 'Pronto' E400MMCs finish at 10981. The 10xxx series will be finished before this year's order of E400MMCs is completed. However, it has been decided to number the 'Smart Hybrid' examples for London in the 110xx series rather than carrying on with the 12xxx series. As such, this means that once the 10xxx series is full, standard E400MMCs will be numbered 111xx onwards.
