Redcar streetlites transferring to Stockton
1598 was apparently a loan to help out for the X12. However it’s never on there. Also with the Pulsar / Streetlite swap they kinda don’t need it now but they have kept it for some reason. Must be just still there because there’s a shortage of buses available at the moment for the rest of the services.

(19 Feb 2024, 5:03 pm)Spottybus I was told that 1598 was on loan to Stockton because Durham are struggling with the X12 boards, its the same before when Stockton had 1412 & 1413 on loan to help with the X12 boards & now 1598

(19 Feb 2024, 5:44 pm)Mike_98 Yes, it is at Stockton because it was sent to help out on the X12 boards. However, it seems to have been solved now and also getting Redcars 14 Streetlites is a bonus. However, 1598 is still at Stockton. They have been using it on all their other services which suggest Stockton have a fair few buses off the road at the moment. Hence why it’s probably the reason why it’s still there.

(19 Feb 2024, 6:03 pm)tyresmoke It’s still there because Durham are short of drivers hence Stockton covering an additional X12 board and 1598 is the bus they’ve been given. If they have any sense they’ll use that locally and allocate a Pulsar to the X12
