A certain driver missed 2 stops (despite pressing the bell twice), so had a nice 1/2 mile walk home. The driver is a good lad but I suppose the sound of the bell becomes normal after a period of a time Tongue.

I never delete the photos off my SD card, I can afford to buy new ones every 6 months.

I don't trust Internet photo hosting websites, because of the likes of Fotopic.

I keep all my photos on a portable hardrive, incase something happens like my Flickr gets hacked and I lose the photos or if Flickr was to suddenly disappear like Fotopic did and all your images would likely to be lost.

I have my photos stored on DVD disk and an External Hard Drive. Currently I have 53 DVD discs containing my photos dating from August 2003.

At work, sitting in my van on a quiet country road having some bait and being disturbed by some 'toff' landowner/farmer (carrying a shotgun) enquiring whether I was lost before asking what business I had in the area. Maybe, he was trying to be friendly - I don't know - but to me he came across as quite snobbish.

A snobbish attitude would be the least of my worries if he had a shotgun!

I tried to get a photo of Go north east 4911 which was operating Orbit service 52 but my camera decided to freeze and I ended up taking a photo of a lamppost

Went to Durham to get photos of the Solo SR's on the 40/40A and saw two old Solos instead!

Not amused!

I deliver to farms in remote locations on a regular basis so it's not that uncommon to see farmers with shotguns walking around fields and such. I mean, it wasn't like the farmer/landowner I encountered today was waving round the gun in a threatening manner - it was 'in half' (sorry I don't know the correct terminology) and safely draped over his arm.

As I said, I perceived him to be snobbish as he was a stereotypical 'toff' (possibly the first one I've ever came across) who spoke like he had a mouth full of marbles, enquiring about 'my business in the area' without, in my view, any real reason. He may have just been trying to strike up a conversation - perhaps my reaction was a manifestation of my own class prejudices.

Carphone Warehouse - How did we do?

I am going to take great pleasure in saying how I think you did.

What's annoying you today? V3 - MrFozz - 20 Mar 2015

Bumped into my Dad(If I could call him that) today in Seaham with his missus and grandbairn.

Not seen him properly for 13 years, apart from 2 occasions, once at Stadium of Light the other time in The White Lion in Houghton and completely ignored me...I was surprised when he spoke to me this morning...If his Mrs and grandkid had not of been there I would have had words with him...

I absolutely hate the man, caused me nothing but heartache over the years and was always a trigger that set me off on a downward spiral, a few years ago, the police picked me up in Fencehouses looking for him, I was absolutely mortal drunk, and what I was doing in don't know as he lives up Hetton Downs...Luckily I was found where I was after I was threatening to burn his house down

Today must be the first time I have ever been genuinely pleased to see an MPD show up Big Grin

When he asked where I was going I wish I had said 'Going to see a man who is to me what you never had been' but I quickly got on the bus before I said something I regretted

It wasn't the brakes. The Pacers have no bogies, hence the squeal.

RE: What's annoying you today? V3 - S813 FVK - 21 Mar 2015

Do pacers even operate the Newcastle-Carlisle journeys? Thought it was just the sprinters that did them.
