(22 Jul 2016, 7:36 pm)Adrian wrote Do the 56/57/X12/6 between Durham and the uni and back. Slow moving at the moment, so if you shake your phone slowly as the vehicle is moving, it should con the gyroscope in your phone into thinking you're walking.

I've hatched 2x 5.0km eggs in 2 days by doing it.

I tried doing this on the 21 between Aycliffe and Sedgefield this morning, that was a waste of time! Fortunately got better when I got into Newcastle.

It needs to be slow moving, so city services are perfect.

It's a shame the Abra doesn't appear very often, as that means I probably won't get to evolve mine into a Cadabra Big Grin

I need a good lingery walk around Newcastle, tomorrow. V low on Pokeballs.

CLASSIC mistake! Big Grin

Abra - Kadrabra - Alakazam

RE: Games - Malarkey - 23 Jul 2016

Mowbray Park is great for Pokestops, about 10 in total. Plus I must of seen at least 200 People all with there phones out obviously playing Pokemon Go, even from speaking to the Ice Cream Man in the park this afternoon his sales have increased massively over the past week due to this game. Have to say I did enjoy the 45 Minutes I spent wondering around the park, I caught the following whilst I was there.

Grimer - CP16, Gastly - CP10, Jynx - CP165, Nidoran (Purple 1) - CP78, Haunter - CP130, Goldeen - CP62, Weepinbell - CP391 (Little Twat to catch this one), Shelder - CP77 and Staryu - CP84.

The crawl through Gosforth on the X22, at lunchtime, was brilliant! Got loads of new stuff.

My haul of new ones for today:
Assortment of male and female Nidorans and a Nidorino
Several Gastlys
CP335 Bellsprout
Not new, but actually caught a couple of Eevees!
Geodude - next to Monument metro!
A cute little Squirtle
CP218 Cubone
Hatched a Lickitung from a 5km egg Smile
Rather weedy Jynx
Oddish, Meowth and Psyduck (all in Gosforth - also managed to put a sacrificial pigeotto into a recently captured gym, so I could collect a few coins for guarding it. Stayed in there a couple of hours before being kicked out)
Electabuzz, at last! Good one, too - now CP566, as I've used up its candy to power it up.
A couple of Seels

Also caught a couple more Abras and many Drowzees with a CP318 one which should eveolve into something pretty awesome.

I'm resisting evolving anything until I have enough to make using a lucky egg really worthwhile.

RE: Games - Michael - 26 Jul 2016

Everyone still playing Pokemon Go?

I went to Mowbray Park in Sunderland today and caught a few Pokemon... it was busy also hatched a Ponyta from a 5km Egg.

Level 10 now.

My Pokemon can be seen below

I'm hoping to make the most of the numerous stops in Darlo, tomorrow. CLS is on my agenda, sometime, for watery ones, too, as they seem to crop up a lot there.

RE: Games - Tom - 26 Jul 2016

Have been playing on it a bit on level nine now. I don't know how to post the screenshots though.

RE: Games - Jimmi - 26 Jul 2016

I was a bit yesterday but I left the house with only 80 odd per cent battery yesterday so after a wander round the MetroCentre I only had about 50% battery left so refrained from playing for the remainder of the day as I required Google Maps to stop me from getting lost. Think I'm currently on level 7.

RE: Games - Michael - 26 Jul 2016

Its addictive like, i might try Barnes Park tomorrow or Seaburn/Roker, those areas seem to be decent areas.

Anyone else got any decent areas?

Pretty much the whole of the centre of Newcastle - 3 stops in old Eldon square, loads around monument and Blackett street seems to be good for rocky ones - had a Rhyhorn and Geodude around there. Always lots of lures on the go.

Noticed that one end of EDC in Peterlee is a gym. That'll be popular with staff, come September! (Peterlee itself is a bit rubbish, mind!)

RE: Games - BusLoverMum - 27 Jul 2016

So long as you stick to the areas where you actually have a phone signal, Durham is spectacular! Caught 3 magicarp on Elvet Bridge (only 98 more needed to evolve one!) and wasted 10 great balls on a massive machoke - game hung on me twice before it got away!

Stockton was good, too, though we only passed through on the bus, so didn't make the best of it.

Darlo was disappointing. Plenty of stops, but nothing more interesting than some massive Drowsees and a Pigeotto better than anything I've evolved so far. Also ot annoyed because I ran out of credit and had to walk around for a bit before I found a spot where the damned three store would load up properly to top up.

RE: Games - Michael - 27 Jul 2016

I went to Roker today and caught:

Dratini (303cp)
Golduck (227cp)
Diglett (104cp)
Voltorb (80cp)
Magnemtite (47cp)
Jynx (148cp)

Loads of Pokemon the same though...

Got a few eggs to hatch to:

Mankey (213cp)
Tentacool (222cp)
Ekans (173cp)
Weddle - released

Also seen a Gengar and Omanyte - both greyed out, couldn't find them - was gutted.

RE: Games - Tom - 27 Jul 2016

They are great compared to what I've got, most of my CPs are low too. Had Dratini the other day too but he disappeared and had Gloom but it disappeared too.

RE: Games - Michael - 27 Jul 2016

Nice collection Adrian.

I like how u have a couple of each Pokemon.

My highest is Hypno - 480cp

How many more times Big Grin Cool Big Grin

RE: Games - Tom - 28 Jul 2016

Caught a few at Wallsend Park earlier. Wasn't on it that much but I got a CP 222 Magmemite, 376 Jynx and a 238 Pontya. Though a 470 Starmie appeared (which I tried about 15 times to catch before it disappeared) which pissed me off as I think that ones rare. Had a Rhydon too but the crap thing froze.

RE: Games - Jackamcardle - 29 Jul 2016

Anyone in Banard Castle playing Pokemon, there's a Dragonite on the main street Big Grin
