They buggered off early yesterday once they met their quota of 75 NPC interactions.

It's not even a conversation. It's all one way feedback, which they'll filter anything that they don't like into the bin.

Just curious here but NPC? Never heard that term in this sense before it's only known as non player character as far as I'm aware. 

(Understand the sentence but intrigued on the accronym)
