Would it not have made sense to do it on a 2019 liveried bus? I think the PVR at Consett for the X30 etc uses all 14 e400s?

Or possibly 6337, which has just been repainted into 2019 fleet livery (so could have avoided a repaint!)

I believe the plan is for it to remain at Consett, where it forms part of the PVR of the X-lines services there - the brand of course being slightly diluted by the fact there won’t be enough branded buses to meet PVR.

Never mind some smart arse advert......some Enviro's in black 'X-Lines' and suitable vehicle allocations for passengers in Teesside, East Durham, the Wear Valley and Durham City would definitely 'get bums onboard'.

Given the significant amount of money that’s been spent on repairing it, I should hope (once it returns to service) that it will be in fine fettle!

Sure that would go down well.

Tbf they were blatently designed to be painted black (or silver), same with the Enviro 400's.

They missed the light cluster below on the B9's though.
