7609/10 have another summer on the Park & Ride until they need replacing. I suspect this is where two of the B9s will end up permanently next year. 7401 is due to go to Yorkshire for major work I gather.

That's good news for 7401 then.

Are Durhams ALX's and E200's getting scrapped do ya know? Surely, it would make sense just to throw them (ALX's) at Redcar's 62 which then gives Redcars Single Deckers some breathing space for a while and creates more capacity on the 62. Even them E200's, yeh they may struggle on hills but would suit the likes of the 62/63 services or even giving the E200's as Spares to Stockton for any broken down Streetlites and Pulsars on the 8/9 and 29 Services. Just a shame to see them go to scrap if they are when they could have their uses else where as more spares.

They won’t let Stockton have the E300s because they aren’t letting drivers training on them apparently which I think it’s ridiculous, If they let drivers train on them then that way they’ll get used to driving them

I think it's good. Stockton can't have the e300

I’ll just answer the sensible bits…
Durham’s E200s… well 1330 is moving back to Yorkshire. Otherwise the rest are staying until replaced. Same for the B7s… they’ve bidded for some Zebra2 money to implement electric buses at Durham to replace them (& some at Redcar) - but I wouldn’t expect to see them in service before the end of next year!

While you're answering a lot of Arriva questions, wonder if you know the answer to the following two?

Any idea when the Arriva electric buses for the 43/44/45/47 are due and have they decided on what they are buying?

Talk in the community is that Arriva want to get some temporary deckers to improve capacity and remove a couple of the Pulsars on the 43/44/45 until the new buses arrive. Reading the posts in the last couple of days, is it likely capacity on those services might shrink rather than grow soon?

Unsure on the rest of the post, but the capacity decrease due to deckers leaving Ashington won't be impacting the 43 boards. Believe they're, incredibly shortsightedly, planning to put the transferred in single deckers on the X21/22 - which already leave people in the peaks when single deckers are allocated.

Is there capacity problems on the 43/44/45? I rarely seem them at peaks but whenever I do see them they never come across as buses which are desperate for more capacity.

Peak runs into Gosforth and Newcastle in the morning fill up Pulsars when they're allocated.

The same on evening peak journeys. Regularly standing passengers until Gosforth Park or Wideopen.

Yeah that's fair, all the Pulsar's need to leave Blyth to be honest, just an operational nightmare as they're not particularly appropiate anywhere and the way Blyth swaps things around for regulation then it's quite often they're on complete inappropiate boards at peak times.
