Durhams 1528 seems to be tracking on the 15 & 16's today. Anyone know why that is? I imagine its a day or 2 loan due to Stockton having a decent amount off the road or is it faulty tracking?

Looks to be an extra X12 working from Stockton today so it’s probably come with that

Ahhh ok. You know what I can never get my head around though. Why the likes of 1404 & 1441 are on the Small Service 8 but instead could also be used on the X12. Is there a policy that they have to switch the buses around on services or something? I've never seemed to understand that.

Euro6 ones are very susceptible to issues with the particulate filters meaning they drop into limp at the drop of a hat.
Also one 9 board is planned to be operated by an X12 bus as it’s a handy place to keep it so it can be robbed in the case of any issues with the Newcastle bus. It’s the xx50 from Middlesbrough as the long X12 goes at xx55. Just yesterday for example 1405 was on this working, and got pinched for the 1155 X12 as a replacement for 1404. The 9 was picked up by 1558 which had just gone come off a 16 and swapped with 1443.

With a Stockton driver (not technically but for this purpose…) covering an X75

Ahhh right ok, do you know why Stockton are covering Durham for all these X12 Boards? Is it lack of drivers or something because they have the vehicles for it so I would assume its a driver shortage?

Also is the X12 a Passenger Demanding Route, I'm surprised they don't use something more comfortable like some E400 MMC's or Streetdecks like the GNE use for the X10 with tables and stuff instead of cramming people on a Single Deck.

I'm sure Stockton depot is single decker only. When the Geminis were on the X12, they were based at Durham.

Yeah quite correct… Stockton don’t have (m)any pits so all maintenance work is undertaken on lifts, and they don’t have the head height to lift double decks up sadly!
