Allocated fleet number 9147 during its time at Go North East, this vehicle has now entered service at Washington Depot. Following a period of driver familiarisation, this vehicle will see primary allocation to "Red Arrows" service X1 and 921.
Following the entry into service of Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Percy Main on "Cobalt Clipper" services 309/310, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain cream base livery, for allocation to "Coaster" service 1 (receiving appropriate branding at a later date).

To simplify the services on the Coast Road corridor, services 75/76 will be withdrawn from 13th November 2010. Between Newcastle and North Shields, the services will be replaced by a brand new 310 service, operating every every 15 minutes and serving Coast Road, High Farm, Battle Hill, Middle Engine Lane, Norham Road, Verne Road and Meadow Well. Combined with the existing "Cobalt Clipper" 309 service, a bus is provided every 7-8 minutes between Newcastle City Centre, the Coast Road, Battle Hill, and Middle Engine Lane.
