4814 is whooshing between Darlington and spennymoor on service 8 today

This years annual Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire Open Day will take place at Lillyhall on Saturday 26th May between 1000 - 1600. As usual there will be a mix of buses on show from other Stagecoach operating companies along with a selection of preserved buses. Currently 32 vehicles are booked to attend with a few more to add.

There will be regular shuttle buses operating from both Workington Bus Station and Whitehaven Town Centre to the depot using a mix of heritage and modern buses.

They are Worthing Depot to replace Scania E400s on 'Coastliner' 700. They aren't due into service until July so are going into store until then.

Most of the 'behind the scenes' work on a number of the site's features is now complete, leaving us with content to add/update as and when we have time, so we're looking at a couple of things that we can do to improve NEB.

Instead of us debating on what we think would most likely to be found useful by the site's users, we thought it'd be worth asking you all directly. That's more likely to give us a good range of different things people would like to see on the site, and also see if there's a big interest in one particular idea.

So, please, give us your suggestions. We look forward to reading them!

This long established taxi operator is now running local services in North Northumberland. They have an evening town service in Berwick to replace journeys withdrawn by Perrymans.

They've just started a shuttle from Haggerston Castle to Lindisfarne. There's also a local service running on the island.

They are using a special restricted operator licence to run the services. Normally 8 seater LDV Maxus minibuses running on taxi plates. Their depot is a short walk from Perrymans at Berwick. They also have Berwick's only party bus.

Well worth a look I recon.
