I know I have asked a similar question before, but following the entry of service of 22510 is there any sight in the engineers fixing 22511 for service?

Do you want your photos to feature on the North East Buses Facebook page?

North East Buses are looking for permission to use photographs from members of this site, with the aim to report on the North East bus scene, or to further promote the website and forum. This will be using our Facebook page. As the need for photographs will be on an ad-hoc basis, we are looking for people willing to give us a blanket approval to use their photos.

Photographs will be saved and re-uploaded to our Facebook page, rather than linked, but all photographs will of course be credited to the author. We may occasionally 'feature' your flickr page on our Facebook page too, as a thank you for the continued support.

If you are interested, please send me a flickr mail, clearly confirming that you are approving download and re-use of your photos on the North East Buses facebook page.

Looks like Arriva have purchased some more MAN Ecocities with OW17 WNB being the first to be registered - https://www.flickr.com/photos/128789124@...otostream/

Does anyone have full details of the Arriva Order for this financial year, as bits and pieces have been put into other threads.

Direct Rail Services (DRS) are hosting their annual charity open day at Carlisle Kingmoor depot this year, on Saturday 22nd July 2017 (ie this Saturday).

https://www.directrailservices.com/news-...-day-2017/
https://www.facebook.com/events/183926592141444/

Doors will be open 1000-1600. £5 entry on the gate.
Easiest way to get there will be on the Stagecoach in Cumbria 76 from Carlisle City Centre/Courts (for Rail Station) to the Redfern Inn. Walk back along the bus and turn right at the T junction - continue along this road over the railway line and you'll find the depot sign!

Plenty on display, including a look around various cabs and interiors of DRS' fleet. Face painting for the kids, also a naming of a locomotive.
A raffle will be drawn on the hour for the chance to start up a locomotive also.

If you can, please do pop along. Smile
