1503 is currently at Durham tracking as 7586

I thought 1503 was due for redcar

That explains why they’ve had 1409 burning the candle at both ends. It’s like a locust, that one.

1495 has arrived at stockton
Reported on Facebook that 1463, 1480 and 1493 are due to arrive shortly.

In other news 1404 has been withdrawn along with 1389 which had been withdrawn from public service and used as a training bus like 1430 and 1432

I got told 1495 arrived last week and entered service on Friday this week, dunno when 1463/1480/1493 will arrive but possibly today maybe I dunno

Shame 1404 has been withdrawn, good one, better than many newer ones, but really great to see the back of 1480 at Blyth, awful, zero power, so so slow, sounds terrible too.

1463 is good though, fast and powerful. But I am glad more deckers there. Redcar gonna have issues with 1480 though, whatever its replacing will be better.

Yeh, I remember being on 1404 on the X4 when it was at Redcar for a while and must say that it was pretty good. It was always out on the X94 alot too. It's good to see Redcar getting some 61 and 12 plated Pulsars though. Some of the 09 and 10 plates are slowly struggling at times but Redcar are very good at getting them back on the road. Regarding 1480, I'm sure the mechanics at Redcar will get it sorted. Despite all the flack they got the other year claiming they were the worst, they managed to keep the Temsas going for a very long time and would have been able to get more and more years out of em until the transfers came and sent them to the scrap yard. Anyways, all of the vehicles will end up at Stockton once this depot closure happens.

1463/1480/1493 & 1495 are all moving to Stockton probably to replace the 09/59 plate pulsars, the new 18x E200MMCs that are for Redcar will replace mostly all Redcars 09/59 plate pulsars and the 10x Evoras that Stockton are getting are replacing Stocktons Ex Merseyside pulsars which are 1368/1379/1380/1383/1384/1385/1387

The 61-plate batch were always hit & miss. 1463 is up there as one of the best buses I've driven, but some of the others (1497 springs to mind) were beyond dire.

I'll be honest and say some of the 09 and 59s were absolute sheds too. 1408, for example, left a lot to be desired compared to 1407 and 1409.
