RE: 2026 New Vehicles
(2 hours ago)Malarkey wrote There like 150 E400/E400MMC's across Arriva Merseyside and there is only 41 DB300s that need replacing. I would imagine the Volvo B5LH Wright Gemini 2's and potentially some of the VDL SB200 Wright Pulsars will all be withdrawn from service.

I'd imagine the E200MMC's, MCV Evora's and the ADL E400FCEV's that are all in Merseytravel Metro livery will go to either Go North West or Stagecoach on 6th September ahead of Tranche 1 going live.

Still quite a lot of Buses from Arriva Merseyside that could be subjected to transfer within the group to other divisions such as here in the North East, Yorkshire, Kent & Surrey or Wales divisions. All have aging fleets which vehicles up to 17 years old now and Arriva since MG has came in with the last year have been working to reduce the overall fleet age with orders for New Buses coinciding with purchases of Second Hand ones also

I haven't counted as it's too much effort but the vast majority of the buses won't be going anywhere. It's only St Helen's and Birkenhead which are impacted and the vast majority of the B5LH's are at Birkenhead so they'll be gone.

I assume the DB300's are going because of the 15 year rule in Liverpool.

I wouldn't be too surprised if the Streetshite's end back up here though.

Streetlites from Birkenhead are off to Southport to replace E200MMCs that are off to Bootle.

The Mersey livered e200mmcs are off to Runcorn.
