If you’re going off of the 2 trips 27239 tracked on on bustimes they were both mistracks. Bustimes had an error that night where 24117 24123 were tracking on Newcastle services. 27239 is not confirmed to be at Sunderland

And 27252 has been a Sunderland bus (ex Walkergate) since March

Is 37311 transferring somewhere? Surely there's other buses in more need of repaint, even though we're out of the anniversary year.

Sorry unrelated idk whether this is the wrong thread or not but will slatyford or walkergate depots be getting any new buses anytime soon(new deliveries or transfers but i mainly mean like new deliveries)

Slatyford are due 18 brand new Yutongs but when I have no idea. They were supposed to get them in March this year but they went to Stockton instead 73089-73106 and then it was mentioned September this year now it’s looking like next year. They can’t get the charging infrastructure sorted. 

Walkergate I don’t believe are due anything new anytime soon. There are no plans for electric buses at Walkergate yet and if they get anything else it’ll probably be second hand from places. Maybe to replace the 20 single deckers they have, that’s way too many singles for Walkergate.

I saw the pair heading south under their own steam on the A1 at Scotswood on Friday morning.  Not sure I would have fancied that 7+ hour drive!

You'd think they would have done 26282 first, thats been knocking around the streets of Newcastle for months now and looks horrendous since it has its front end 'modified'

Turns out 37311 needs a new engine. 26282, for the record, had a deer-based accident on the 685.

How true is that, that the 373’s are going to Slatyford to replace the 364’s? Some of them 364’s are a hell of a lot better than the 373’s

27251 now working from Sunderland, didnt last long at Shields.

I thought they were only at Shields to cover for 27740 and 37317 that were on loan to Walkergate to cover for the Silverstone vehicles.

I know it hasn't been confirmed yet, but surely the Enviro 300's which remain have to be going to Sunderland to replace the Gas Buses. The numbers pretty much match perfectly now.

Btw speaking of allocations has the 6 and 7 officially been downgraded to Enviro 200's now or is just because Slatyford has a ridiculous number of the things that they're being dumped on there?

Possibly, i thought they may have been replacememts for a couple of the remaining darts.  Arent they getting withdrawn shortly?

Slatyford are due their Yutongs over the coming weeks. 4 will initially enter service on the 30/31/36 while the chargers and infrastructure is sorted then the remaining 14 will enter service soon after. This probably means 24101-24115 won’t have long left in service if the plan is to replace them with the Yutongs.

Looks like the 20 in Sunderland is now allocated electrics on a Sunday.

Are these being delivered in the old corporate livery or the new one?

Has 27253 always had a LED clock with the time and date on?

First time I've noticed it.

If not, it's had it a while, most of Slatyford and Shields' 27s, 36s and 37s have them - they'll all get them eventually as it's for the NSAs when they get activated.

I doubt there's a particular order they're going in, probably just when it goes in for repaint or major work.

To be fair, it's not optional. Every bus registered after 2014 has to have them this October extending to every vehicle by next October.

They're leaving it until the last minute really. Don't believe Arriva have started on the few vehicles that don't have them either - just Streetlites I believe.

They have started a while ago, at least in Northumbria. I was on 7554 a few weeks ago and that had them fitted, having previously been one of the few E400s without them.

Yeah that's fair, they can't have much to do. Just the ex eco painted Streetlites left now unless I've missed something? 

Be interesting to see if there's exceptions for next year as I can't imagine the operators being so keen to put them on 15+ year old vehicles which they'll all have in the North East unless there's some major withdrawals coming in soon.

Does anyone know what's going on at Sunderland this morning? Allocations seem all over the place and there's no Yutong's in service
