Wonder if it's a simple website error (GNE's website is particularly poor) or the changes have been so negatively fedback on they've quietly dropped them?

Or NECA, GNE and Arriva Northumbria have re-negotiated terms and the agreement will continue with some BSIP money thrown in to compensate for extra PVR or traffic improvements?

Whilst the QA is by no means perfect, if one operator didn't step in and restore a 7-8 minute service, a disjointed separate 10 minute service from each operator would be a worse deal for passengers especially on a corridor that justifies at least one 7-8 minute service or group of services.

Any idea what these changes are? Presumably just small timetable changes?

Wasn't the 352 meant to be getting withdrawn?

Wouldn't surprise me the 353/354 get rerouted into Northumberland Park Interchange with the station due to open on the 22nd February

Unless it's changed, I'm sure you have to pay to serve Northumberland Park similar to Heworth, Four Lane Ends etc. Highly doubt they'd want to do that. Be minor timetable changes imo.

Truthfully can't see much demand anyway, bar Ashington there's nothing really up here and there's not really anything on the 353/354 to really go to either.

The Stagecoach 22 would be the useful one but it terminates in a business park a mile a way, the same business park which isn't particularly easy to get to in terms of frequency from Northumberland Park either. Shame it's never been extended, even if it was BSIP funded tbh.

Just the 18.09 service they brought in last year.

The demand is great enough to see full X39s and 22Xs depart within minutes of each other, both morning and afternoon. 

GNE were told an additional 3pm or 5.30 service would be preferable to fit shift patterns but they persisted with 6.09.

Personally i reckon the next changes in North Tyneside after these ones will see off the 352, Stagecoach may even replace it with a 37X (bit like the 22X)

Not sure a 37X would work tbf. Isn't that just the X63 or X7/X8 depending where you are? 

The 22X is just there to get the buses back into town quicker btw as there's very little demand on the 22 between Cobalt and Newcastle towards Newcastle at 5pm. 

It's a clever little move imo and a shame there's not more of it.

Just seen 309 timetable on traveline.

2230 ex Newcastle curtailed in Whitley Bay - quite sensible IMO

2345 ex Newcastle withdrawn on Sundays only and last bus at 2230 - again sensible

I've got a feeling the last one will run off the 54 given the last 307 ex North Shields at 2251 will terminate in Hadrian Park

Also looks like 20 min service will be kept for the most part on Saturdays, but will be every 30 minutes until around 11am on the 307 & 309.

There's some differences, e.g the last 356 journey from Whitley Bay terminates at Killingworth instead of Forest Hall and there's some minor timing differences.

Ah apologies you's are right, I was comparing the timetables on Traveline. Looks like someone has done a massive cock up and overwrote the current timetable so now anyone using Traveline is getting the wrong timetable.

I'd say I'm surprised but then again.

The response for the 91 was that it would start outside Yates as a service 94 as oppose to 91. 

I did complain in the consultation about the 91 specifically as putting a service 94  to operate from Newcastle as oppose to Gateshead for these odd few services would be confusing for everyone. Not only for the service 94 which is the Gateshead loop but the destination Board would read Gateshead from Newcastle therefore people may not get it 

Also this consultation on 91 quietly removed the afternoon team valley to Newcastle  service from the timetable which is the only service to Newcastle (carries around 50-60 people as a loading)  The 2 buses come of school services and one service operates the X1A  to Picktree from town off memory

309 departures from Haymarket on a Saturday are every 30 minutes until 12:25. You'd think Arriva will do particularly well clearing up here if they put some more resource in to ensure punctuality is stronger than it perhaps has been. 

309 Sunday times leaving Blyth in the morning look like they've been done with absolutely no regard for passengers, and purely taken directly from whatever software they used for the Q3 timetables. 07:45, 08:33, 09:03, 09:32, 10:00, 10:27. Why not just make it uniform...
